Update on Quilt Cabinet, Life and whatever!

I have an update on my Quilt Cabinet, I am just hoping that I get it finished and framed before July! I don't have much time to stitch since I babysit 2 days a week. I did some changes to this, that is I changed the floss from DMC to Sullivans Floss, in a way I do like it, but to me the colors do not seem as bright as DMC or Anchor, or that could be me. I do like working with it.

News on the Home Front!

Andrea had gotten engaged 2 weeks ago, she is very happy and so am I!  Glenn is a  wonderful man, who loves her and Miranda! The wedding is September 30, 2011! Talk about a short engagement!  I don't have much time to get the wedding sampler done, Joe had picked this one out for her about 6 years ago, I had started it, and put it away, so now I am going to try to get it finished for her! I think it will have more meaning to her,  I have been told, since Joe picked it out for her.
Wedding Sampler

I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning grey ( under the Red ) and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face.
I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family, for less grey hair and a

flatter belly.
Enjoy the Day!

That wedding sampler is going to be beautiful.. I did one for my daughter when she got engaged and gave it to them on their second wedding anniversary!! LOL But for my son last year they had it on the day! One of the many benefits of being retired is more stitching time. And I do love your saying although I would like a flatter belly! LOL

Congrats on your DD's engagement. The sampler will be gorgeous and have much more meaning because your DH picked it out.

QC looks good. You'll be done in no time.
