Now I am going through the Jewelry from my mom and grandmother to see what else I could use! It doesn't look that bad on either! My grandmother never went anywhere without a brooch and her earrings!

Old Brooch...New Necklace
Since I don't work anymore, I don't have a need to wear a brooch or a pin on my jacket, some were from my grandmother, I just didn't want to get rid of them. Going through Pinterest, I found a necklace made from a braided cord, and old brooches where pinned on it, so I set out to make one. I also have old clip on crystal earrings that I just won't wear, so I figured I could inter change the pieces.

Awesome job.
When I read this, it reminded me of my eldest aunt. She could make anything - crochet, knit, paint, ceramics, you name it. She even made jewelry for awhile, mostly beaded necklaces and bracelets. One-of-a-kind handmade pieces, no matter the material, are always the best and most treasured.
